Default Brake Caliper

Anyone change the frontpads on your car and have a caliper go bad? Or stick so bad that it distroys the new pads? It happend to me and I have to get a new drivers sidefront caliper and new pads. Thank god the pads were lifetime warrenty. The caliper should be here in two days at Autozone.
Another thing was kind of weird, The drivers side caliper was $40 and the passenger sideis $60. Both have a core charge of $40. Why is that? Anyone know??? From the pic they both look the same.

thats a ****ty autozone, we carry them in stock at the one i work at. As for the price difference it most likely has to do with how common the parts are to remanufacture the caliper.

Make sure to replace both at the same time. When I replaced my ranger's calipers, rotors, and pads, I got everything off of ebay. I got 2 brand new front calipers with pins and hardware for about $114 shipped.
