Hang on, you said, and I quote "im having problems with the patriot heads," but its leaking oil out of the crank/main seal? How is that the heads fault?

Yes, you need a tune.
lol well thats not part of the heads....thats a whole other can of worms....ughhh....its all hitting me at once lol

the only problem im having with the heads is how it runs but i want to fix the oil problem first to make sure it can handle the 88 mile drive 1 way to the dyno shop and handle the dyno itself haha

i cant wait to see what its like after the tune.....did you get yours tuned right away??

so far...im having problems with the patriot heads

mysterious oil disapearing (in the process of fixing that)....runs rough sometimes....going to get it dyno tuned soon as i sort my oil problem...ill let you know my numbers when i get it dynoed but i dont think ive made much of a power improvement from them...but ill let ya know if your serious about them when i get the numbers
You aren't the first to have trouble with Patriot. They would never get my money. Foxlake/Steen/VT/Boss330 would be the ones I talk to. You just don't have issues with them people.

best way you can get power if go for the SVO heads and intake, they bolt right up to our 96-98 stangs. then i don't know much bout cams but just get a stage 3 cam or something, CAI, big throttle body+plenum. that's a good top end kit i would believe. but will cost money as said.

It will be alot cheaper to build a N/A 5.0, maybe you should look into it

bcuz its spraying out around the crank pulley bolt
I had this problem after I installed my steeda pulleys. Just removed the crankshaft pulley bolt, cleaned the seating and the bolt, added some high temp rtv silicone around the seating of the bolts washer, put bolt back in and problem gone. No more oil leak. Seems that the oil slips out of the key way on the crankshaft.
