What are you guys with 4.10 gears and forced induction running in the 1/4 mile? I'm trying to decide on the gears I want. Any increase in 1/4 mile mph? Right now I am running stock gears.

What are you currently trapping MPH wise?

With 383 whp on a mustang dyno you should be trapping 114-117 MPH. thats the problem with FI cars and 4.10s, you can run out of RPM at the top of the track and have to shift to 5th, killing your times.

well, I have not been able to get a clean run. I have a bad 3rd gear syncro[:@], but with that I am trapping 106mph in the 1/4 . I m also a vert so I figure I would trap lower anyway.

We are nearly identical in whp and wtq numbers (I dynoed on a mustang chassis dyno too) and I trapped 114 MPH. This was with the heavy *** DD bullitts on the back, so once you get a clean pass in, espcially with gears in the car, you could outrun the 4.10s in 4th gear.

its all about what you trap. If you have enough your gonna run out of RPM at the top of the track with 4.10s

are you running stock gears? I am runningDD bullitts in the back also. Its crazy that my 3rd gear took a **** with only17000 miles on it[&:]. What are your dyno numbers?
