i went to the drag strip 2 days ago to test and tune, i was shocked that when i took off was couldn't change gears from 1st to 2nd gear, it won't go into the slot which i found very wierd, i slammed the gear twice till it got in place, happened to me twice (only runs i took)

and if you guys want to ask, i hot 14.9 secs in a 1/4 mile with the hold for the gear not going into place.

Synchro's in tranny are done. Same happens to me every now and then.

 

so they need replacement? how much do they cost?

 

i had that prob and when i replaced my clutch it fixed it they told me my clutch wasnt releasing right so when it tried to go into the next gear it wouldnt let it go in jst sounded a little familiar and it only done it when i would race

 

Granny shiftin',not double cluthin like you should.
