Default Water-Methanol Injection

I'm saving $$$ for a s/c and was talking to a mustang guy about methanol injection instead of a intercooler.

Can anybody give me info on this or if you have one is it better than a intercooler? I was looking at the one from Snow Performance.

Thanks
