Cobra suspension
What is the weight difference between the independant rear suspension in the Cobra and the stock live axle on a GT?
I've been thinking about converting over for better handling, but I don't want it to slow me down too much. Thoughts?

I want to say I recently read it was around 100 pounds, but it removes some unsprung wieght as well.
Edit: One good thinga bout it is you can probably get one for free, there are people that want to swap over to 8.8 setups (like ZW99 for instance).

I've got an IRS for sale if your intersted. Already done my swap. The IRS is sitting in the garage ready to ship out. 
I REALLY doubt you will find someone willing to swap strait up for an 8.8 though.
