There is a big fine for pulling off cats. Thats why they wont do it. Look for performance shops. They will do it before a muffler shop will. I say do it yourself though. Its SOOO simple.
lol u have no idea how many ppl told me its soooooo easy. i dont think i've never even turned a wrench probably in my young life yet. So for me i dont think it would be easy lol. And then what about the catback??

oh i was wondering why ppl were saying muffler shops wouldnt do it. i always thought since we dont have emissions why would it matter, but i guess its cuz of federal laws.

Well, ive been working on Helicopters and my previous owned vehicles for over six years and I can tell you... there isnt a thing on the car you drive that isnt SOO easy to look at and figure out pretty quickly. The catback will need to be cut on one side of the axle or the other to get it out. Thats the hardest part of the whole job there. The rest of the job consists of lubing your hangers and sliding it all together and tightning the bolts. The mid pipe is a little easier. Nothing a beginner cant do in a matter of a few hours. Just spray all the bolts good with WD40 and let the set for about an hour and then go to work.

A sawzall, a can of WD40, a set of deepwell sockets and a wrench should be all.
