99-04 Misfire

Default 99-04 Misfire

I just got the new motor in my car. Its a 2000 GT with a 96-98 Bottom end and PI heads. Between 1-2k it has a misfire then its gone. It has new plugs in it already, any ideas what else it can be?

check the COP's make sure the boots are clean. did you find out what was wrong with the old motor?

I had the same problem...I figured out which plug it was, replaced it.....then I had the same studdering about 2-3 weeks later....last week I replaced that coil pack and she runs like a beauty...

coil pack bad connection they lose the connection between the boot and coil that would be my guess
