Is there any way that we can tell from the VIN number the color of the Mustang. We are looking on Ebay and Trader online and it is hard to tell what colors they are. Sometimes it seems like they are listed as the wrong color.

Are there any easy or quick ways to tell for sure that aren't in the VIN. Like a door tag code, cowl tag, etc.

yes. There it is on youre door tag... It say something like Ext color. I cant remember. But its on the door tag
