Default How Low Should I Go?

I want tolower my 99 cobra and i was looking at H&R springs and the drop its 1.7" front and 1.6" in backis that 2 much or just about right?

Sounds good to me. 2"+ is too low for me, but H&R's sound good.

is that 2 much or just about right?
for what? if you have low hanging headers or bad roads you may have to take it easy at times. It should look fine but you'll probably need C&C plates.

The ride is okay, they aren't stiff enough, roll like dice in corners and worst of all- gave me an uneven drop![:@]Thedriver's side front and rear is a 1/2 in lower than the passenger side....

I shoulda listened to everyone that told me H&Rs. I just got the Eibachs because no one had H&Rs in stock at the time....

yeah im going to order H&R today...but do u guys think i really need the cc plates now? i doubt it i do but not sure

With the stated 1.7" drop in the front, It's right, (if not past), on the border line if your factory c/c plates will have enough adjustment in them to properly align the front end. The list goes on and on of parts that need to be replaced if you want tolower your car correctly, but after market c/c plates are usually a mandatory up-grade when installing springs with that much drop.
