Find someone who just went supercharged and buy there CAI used to save $. I just bought a K&N FIPK ($214 at Summit) for $50. Same price as filter alone. I also have a BBK 75mm tb and a C&L elbow. Definate improvement.

just get a K&N filter. it'll give you basically the same gains as a ~$200 CAI. you won't feel a power increase from any of this, but you'll feel better throttle response, especially if you do the filter, tb & plenum at once.
This is absolutely right when I did my K&N and CAI it did absolutely nothing. Better throttle response, however manufacturers claim 5-8 HP depending on who or what manufactures claim. The plenum on the 4.6 is pretty good, its the TB that you need to change I put on a BBK 75mm and I noticed an immediate difference.
Yeah and don't forget how good that sound was when the CAI was new. Whoosh! lol I must have gained like 20hp from the sound alone!
