Default FRPP or Motive gears..

Ok which brand should I go with. Situation is this. I really want to get the 410s, but I would like to kenne bell the car within the next 3-5 years, should I drive the car around for a few years with the 4.10s then when i KB it switch them out again to the 373s? Ive seen that the FRPP 373s are about 40$ more than the Motives, if they are worth the 40 extra bux I am willing to pay it.

I wen't with FRPP 3.73 I think they were 179.99 or around there. I personally would stick with 3.73's, they are a great street gear. Lot's of people are going to tell you to go with 4.10's, but that was to much for me, as I did a lot of interstate driving.

I have the ford gears and have never had any issues. I hear alot of other people with other brands having issues.

the place i went to charged me half what they actually expected to because i bought frpp gears... they are built to the same tolerances as the stock ones and usually have to go in without any re-shimming of the rear end... basically they took the old one apart, and put the new ones in, no other modifying..... def go frpp

4.10 and yes pay the extra for the FRPP.

With a KB you still will be able to street with 4.10s so you won;t have to switch them. But if you plan on doing the KB soon then and are worried about streeting then go with a 3.90 or 3.73

i have Motive 3.73 gears and my car runs great, no whine or anything. i would say just buy the 3.73s, it wont make a big enough difference worth the cost of an additional set of gears and an additional install.

How about some 390 Gears? I am doing LT headers, x pipe, and catback this month and gears next month on my 01 automatic GT, and was wondering the thoughts on that compromise....Looks like FRPP doesn't make them, just motive....

Just get 4.10's. Why not? I have them and dont use the highway as an excuse because I drove them all the way home, from Texas to Georgia, and I got 320 miles to the tank. 4.10's are an awsome gear in my opinion.
