Default LT's or shorties are they worth it?

hey i was wondering what some on you have...see i want a prochamber and some flows 50series....and i have a 2001 GT. But would it be worth it to do headers? Do you really even get a good HP gain from LT's or even shorties? I heard that the GT's dont really respond to headers any truth to this? can you call tell me some of your power gains if you know them? Thanks

Well to be honest, I have never driven a car with shortie headers besides the stock maniflods so I really couldnt tell you if there is a major difference. What I can tell you is that most mustang owners eventually want to go FI such as a supercharger or turbo. Thats why I went the LT route. I have every intention of going FI within the next six months if not sooner. The better the flow the more power you make.

i'd also like to see more info on the regular length/shorties.

I don't wanna fvck around with the k-member or change my midpipe again (magnaflow catted x).

longtubes wont ever be able to pass emmissions, maybe a sniffer test if your lucky - but because they re-locate teh 02 sensors farther downstream they won't ever get an emissions legal stamp.

is there anyway posible of having them pass the emissions? i would really like my mustang to have LT's but i want it to pass emissions also if the state ever gets that law passed they are trying so badly on.
