to properly seat your rings you want to put a real-time load on it. you dont wanna drive like a granny, that does not seat your rings. im not saying bring it up to redline in wot, but definitely dont drive like a granny...put a load on the engine in spurts. you need to 'stress' the rings a little for them to seat properly, otherwise your more likely to have issues later on.

the guys at excessive told me 500-600 and i'll be fine. considering i live in northern VA, it's all stop and go and traffic miles. so 500 miles to me is like 1500 on the highway
