i don't drive my new cars "hard as heck". even my new 328 tells me not to until i've got like 800 miles on it.

to properly seat your rings you want to put a real-time load on it. you dont wanna drive like a granny, that does not seat your rings. im not saying bring it up to redline in wot, but definitely dont drive like a granny...put a load on the engine in spurts. you need to 'stress' the rings a little for them to seat properly, otherwise your more likely to have issues later on.

dont be scared to touch the power band within 500 miles

the guys at excessive told me 500-600 and i'll be fine. considering i live in northern VA, it's all stop and go and traffic miles. so 500 miles to me is like 1500 on the highway
Our MMR blocks are blueprinted so we are good to go after 500.........

Alright alright. Cool. I think what I'll end up doing, just to be on the safe side is drive it normal ish for the first 500 miles. Then I should be set.
