Thats cool man, I think a lot of people (myself include) wish they would have done this. I think the hood is going to be a tight fit. I hear it will clear but your going to have to at least remove the insulation. Of the top of my head I can't think of anything else if you already have the harness and the computer. There are a few guys on this forum that have completed this swap hopefully one of them chime in if there is something else.

depending if you're auto or manual you'll need an 8 bolt flexplate/flywheel, you may already have one if you're 99-01 GT i think they came with 8 bolts. Other than that you'll need a few odds and ends things like the air induction tube, hopefully the throttle body cable and the bracket is there because they were discontinued. I don't think you'll really need much else.

since you have 96 you'll need and 8 bolt flywheel, your midpipe should hook up to cobra exhaust manifolds

new flywheel, complete motor, MAF, and the biggest bitch part to find is gonna be the cobra throttle cable, its discontinued from ford and the GT one is 2 short, other than that if its all complete its a direct swap, Ive already done it twice.
