Default changing exhaust

I now have a bbk catted x pipe and the magnapack catback on my 97 gt and I am looking for a better sound. I am planning on getting an off-road h pipe and flowmaster 40 series exhaust.I was wondering if the 40's could be put in the same place the magnapack are or would I need to change cat-backs. The mufflers now sit up in the frame off the car and I am not sure if the flowmaster will fit in the small area. Also will the set-up be louder then my car is now.

Before you go changing the entire thing just change out the packs for the flows. Cobrastang has a catted X with flows and it sounds pretty damn good.
