ORIGINAL: CLIFFROD

THE NOISE THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT IS CALLED A TIP IN GEAR WHINE IT IS FROM THE BACKLASH IN THE RING AND PINION BEING OFF THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS REPLACE RING AND PINION OR TRY AND REPLACE THE COPPER CRUSH SLEEVE AND SET THE BACKLASH UP TO SPEC
I had something like this happen to mine from taking off at the track with slicks. The force from dumping the clutch and the slicks hooking pressed my crush sleeve a little more. It makes a roaring noise instead of a chirp though.

Does the noise stop when you push the brake?? If so, you may have bent an axle from all the launches at the track. It happened to me, I just swapped out my jacked up rear-end for a fully built 98 Cobra rear end, with 31 spline axles. The noise is gone now obviously, but seriously you probably bent an axle it's happened to two other people I know.

I have the EXACT same noise. A chirp-chirp-chirp, that changes with speed. Only shows up after 10mins of driving from a cold start.

I have a audio clip of my noise issue for better clarification.
Its not my brakes. I tried holding brakes/e-brake, no difference.

Have a listen:

I noticed its a really old thread.

Did anyone figure out what the problem was? Solutions?

I had the same problem, turns our my rear right axle was bent. Take it to a mechanic, lift up the car and run the car and have the mechanic look at your wheels. In my case my wheel was wobbling and making the chirping noise while violently shaking my car. You might need to replace your bearings too. If braking doesn't change the chirping noise it is most likely your axle or bearings.
