Some of my lights are not working inside, my gauges wont light, nor my radio, and mydoor lockswont work, butthe remote ones do. Also when i set my alarm those lights dont work either. So is it my GEM module i need to replace. I have a code coming up now too p1633 which says " battery disconnect, or open/short circuit condition. I need to get my emissions done so i need to know what i need to replace.

what year are you working on??
i ran the code through alldata and the diagnosis pinpoints 4 places[*]Battery terminal condition[*]keep Alive Power (KAPWR) wire routing[*]Harness circuit: KAPWR[*]PCM
check your wiring , engine wire harness, battery wiring, etc

the repairs are all pointing to battery terminals, engine compartment wiring, open repairs, up to PCM replacemnt but that was ran through for a 2000 GT

Hmmm.... well i guess ill try that and see what i can find, i have an 03 gt so it should be similar i would think correct????

 

im not sure....there are differences between them but that's where i would start at least it gives you a general idea

as for the GEM module, looks like it isnt even listed in the DTC flow chart
