I'm at 244rwhp/281ftlbs trq after pi swap, pullies, cai, h pipe, flow 40's, and chip (dyno tuned). I do have a **** trans, and an auto, but I gained approx 64rwhp with all of these items. After the tranny swap, TB/Plenum will be next I think.

im probably putting down around 265ish hp at the wheels with my mods. It ran a 13.5@101 at maple grove raceway a few weeks ago which is a whole second of my old ET and i had 209 at the wheels before the swap.

i stated in my post TB/plenum COMBO. s TB on a stock motor no, will not give much power. when combined with a plenum on a car with basic exhaust and a cai bolt ons, yes, they have been dyno proven. C&L started it and several others have followed. http://www.accufabracing.com/mustang_gt.htm

blower cars have seen 20+. i had this on my car as a full bolt on GT, and have known many people who have used them with great results.

huh? N/A you will never outflow the stock MAF, or heads. the intake becomes a restriction at about 6K, and an upgrade is really only necassary if you want peak numbers, have a high revving n/a car, or go with a nice boost setup.it's not so much the size of the ports, but the shape and smoothenss improvements from the porting and polishing that increases the velocity.

as i said, i went through the whole pi swap deal back in 04 when 300 rwhp was still a new achievement for n/a 4.6 2 V's.

Ken Bjones stil holds the record at 368 rwhp N/A. using PI heads. there's only so far you can go n/a, and the pi heads work well enough so that no one's developed a new casting for them yet.but the plenum and tb work great on blower cars unless you ditch the pi manifold. that's why i like them. it's one of those bolt ons that compliments other mods.
