You gotta drop the k member, I mean I dont understand how people dont take off the k member...while youre doing it, get some stage 8 locking header bolts, and some new gaskets, I recommend percy's...

Do I absolutley have to drop it? I just spent $50 for an alignment just 2 weeks ago so if I dropped it, wouldn't it throw it all out of wack?

You don't have to drop the k-member if you pull the tranny and take the intake manifold and valve covers off. From there it can be done with a lot of work. Those take quite a while to remove also but I'd do that over the k-member any day.
