HELP! i came outside today and saw power steering fluid all over the driveway under the car. what the hell? i couldnt see exactly where it was leaking from but it was somewhere from the bottom of the power steering pump. Mabe a line, seal, etc.Has anyone ever had this problem before or know what it could be? please help.

 

like i said didnt get a good look but just crossed my mind mabe it could be something to do with the power steering rack and pinion also. not really sure. if someone knows something about this stuff and has some good tips on how to figure out what it is i would really appreciate it. thanks

 

You have to look under the car to see where it's leaking. ... There's not many things that can be leaking ps fluid.

 

thats what i figured. i'll just have to wait till tomarrow so can clean it up and see if i can spot some drips. thanks.

Where's the leak coming from? Is it from a line, or the rack?

 

I had a small leak in mine awhile ago. I drained it and refilled with PS fluid with stop leak, or something like that and it seems to be fine now.
