Default loss of power?

Maybe its just me or the heat. I dont know. The other day I had flowmasters put on and 4 of the 6 cats taken off. I have 1 cat. on each side right after the exuast manifold and then straight pipes in place of the other cats directly to flowmasters then out. Now just seems like there is no power of the start. I slam gas and does not even spin wheels really any more. It is 100 degress outside. I was wondering if it could be tires or something or maybe I just not going to floor of the start. I just thought taking the cats of will help on power. and leaving 2 on until i get x pipe. Please Help.

You don't have 6 cats. You only have 4. Well, you had 4. The two up front are just resonators. Running straight pipes is going to mess up the way your car runs. Straight pipes FTL. [:'(]

its a cali. car they have higher emmisions. There was a total of 6 they all looked the same they had o2 sensors going to them. Well the exuast guy said thats what they were anyway. so I dont know. Well what do I have to do then. I see everyone running the x pipes with no cats and there fast. if I get the x pipes on there will that be better and solve the problem since I just running staright pipes from the res. or cat whatever they r next to the exuast manifolds. please let me know thanks. hopefully the x pipe will work since I see everone with them.

It just changed your powerband to higher RPMs.... You lost some low end but gained alot of high.

I have had the exact same experience with my brothers '00 GT. We put on an MAC off-road h-pipe and low end literally sucked. Exactly like you said, it wouldn't even spin the tires. The weather is not the problem. Your power band was moved up a little higher, so your low end feels like crap. All we did to solve the problem was add a throttle body and upperintake plenum. After that, the car felt better than ever! It will work I promise.

Well thank you. Makes me feel a whole lot better. I was getting worried I just htought that I messed the computer up or something or hurting the engine. Does it hurt the engine doing that with the low back pressure and all? They put these things on the 02 sensor plugs so it would not throw check engine light.
