who makes a good chip or tuner for a 98 GT. I know a dyno tune is the best bet but there isnt one around here for hours.

 

im gonna have to say go with the SCT xcalibrator or the Diablosport Predator... i went with the predator... but a lot of people like the xcalibrator.... either way those are the best 2 programmers IMO... ive heard the most about them and anyone i know with a tuner has one or the other... thats gotta mean something

 

ok I looked at both of those. Which one would you prefer though. WHich one is the best outta those 2 and which one is more adjustable?

well i have the predator ... i chose that just because ive heard more about it than the xcalibrator and i dont think i even knew about te xcalibrator when i got ym predator..... either way they should yield around the same gains more or less ... especially with u only have a few bolt ons

Yeah, I've never been able to get a straight answer on MF.com b/c the 98's are so freaking weird... A lot of tuners will WORK on the 98's but only advance timing, yet they will do all kinds of cool stuff on 96-97's and 99+'s....

 

thats just freakin great, I had to buy a car thats a freak of nature..
