Hello all I recently did a total motor , tranny and supercharger swap from one 96 cobra to another 96 cobra , the motor I swapped had 15k miles on it and the old one had 103k plus I threw a vortech supercharger on board (stage 1) , I just got everything up and running and i took it out for the first ride , I noticed i was unable to throttle it over 4500-5000 rpm unless I take my foot slightly off the gas and then itll shoot up to 7k rpm where it redlines , everything motor wise was totally swapped from the cobra that orginally had the motor and SC , I am unable to find out what the problem is , I tried swapping the mass air sensor on the intake but nothing changed , does anyone have any ideas on why its getting stuck on at 4500-5k rpm , I also switch the computer with the vortech chip it had on it , Id appreciate all and any ideas , thank you.[/align]

Maybe the throttle position sensor is screwing up? Or the throttle is opening more than 180 degrees...so much that it starts blocking air again (dunno if that's possible).

It's probably something tune related, or more advanced, but I figured I'd throw it out there

Sounds like your wot tune is off. I'd get it on a dyno asap.

Besides, if your tps or your maf is not working right the tuner will be able to tell you real quick what's going on.
