Default JLT RAM AIR OR JLT COLD AIR INTAKE

GUYS,,

can anyone explain the main diffrence between the ram air and the cold air intake?

which is the best.. what are some advanteges and disadvan.... for each

what do suggest...?!!

The only difference is that a CAI pulls air from down in the fenderwell, while a RAI pulls it from under the hood (front passgenger side). Power differences between the two are marginal.

I just bought the Ram Air to replace my BBK. The fenderwell can be more difficult to install and may not be worth the extra cost or difficult to install.

the only time you may see any differences is at like 100+ mph, so it's really just personal preference.
