installed my stingers tonight with a friend. tonight was a great night.

i got in some trouble also.... you see, once we had the exhuast off we had to drive around the neighborhood some because it sounded great with no exhuast. it had a very deep muscle car sound like it was running a 500 ci motor. so we had the noise police call the cops on us. this old couple that was out walking their dog called the cops on us... so the cop came by and said "ive had a report of some young teenagers in a convertible mustang with the top down drive by at excessive speeds. we explained it to him they thought it was cause i didnt have any exhuast on the car (exhuast system sitting right next to us on ground.... ) and that we were driving the speed limit, its just loud which makes it sound faster. so he believed us and left us to finish the work. he had my heart jumping there first. so glad he didnt ask for a lisence. (not of age yet. ) those old farts need to get a life. it was just a mustang with no exhuast. we drove by them about 3 times while we were cruisng around with no exhuast. and i was doing 20-25 mph the entire time... speed limit is 25 mph where we live. there is one point i hit about 29-30 but that was in a straightaway and i was in 3rd gear so it was quieter. and how could someone tell when its dark out if its a mustang convertible?

So you got the stingers on? What do you think of em?

And back to your story... I'm a little confused. Are you implying you dont have a license yet you have a mustang and a rumble bee? Or is it that your parents have those vehicles and let you mess around with em? I dont care either way, just wondering.

yeap, the stingers are on the car. they sound great. my friend didnt notice a difference but i think it sounds deeper.

i dont have my lisence yet (get it in about 1 month), but they are my vehicles....

just change your midpipe now, and then your friend will notice the difference

How in the hell do you own a rumble bee and stang w/o having your license yet, if you don't mind me asking lol

i dont know how i own both of them? i paid for part of them, and my parents helped me out with the rest of the cost on them. i had a job for 7 years when i was younger so i made a fair amount of money during that time. and i also cut grass working my azz off to afford cars. now i cant afford their parts to make them better.

for the stang, i will do the midpipe eventually. im getting long tube headers i think so i need to get a X-pipe that will fit on the headers.... i think my suspension is going to be my next project possibly? or i may finish exhuast, not so sure yet. just gotta save up alot before i know.

Yea i realized that cobras sounded badass with the stingers, but there was no GT owner on this board with them. So with the persuasion of wings, i took the chance, i'm happy with my choice.
