Default Oil Catch Can setup question!

Well I am now supercharged and need to install an Oil/Air separator for the PCV system. I'm a bit confused on some things....first off, what is the difference if any between an Oil catch can/tank and an Oil/Air separator? Secondly I do not want to do a breather can as I want the vacume to pull the gasses out of the crankcase so if I install either of these 2 cans, do I install them between the passenger side valve cover PCV and intake inlet tube or do I use a "T" connector to take both the PCV line on the passenger side and the hose coming out of the driver side valve cover? From my understanding, the driver side valve cover hose is where the clean air enters the crank case and the passenger side is where the gasses and unwanted oil enter the intake system. I hope I just didnt confuse all of you, please give me your info on the subject, thanks!

Default RE: Oil Catch Can setup question!

I just installed them inline. One for each side. I used the home depot air compressor oil/air separators on the pass side and a plastic catch can on the drivers side.(no breather filter).I placed the catch can right behind the fan .....using the coolant reservoir support.
