FWIW, GT's come stock with 2.5" pipes, and the Terminators come with 2.25" pipes from the factory. 
I have the Pypes X-pipe for my GT....no fitment issues whatsoever, AND.....it sounds AMAZING! Especially with Flows, I might add...and I have the catted one too.

Note: I said PIPES not tailpipes....actually, the stock tailpipes are 3".
If you bought 2.5" tips, then your exhaust would look like 2 pencils coming out your bumper.
