Default Timing Adjuster

Hey, I've been looking into the timing adjusters available for the 4.6L....I've noticed that they only give a range to 10 degrees advance......but when I was checking out my engine on the scan tool I noticed that my initial timing is already at 10 degrees so would the timing adjuster make any difference since I cant go past 10 with it?<IMG src=smileys/smiley5.gif border="0">

Just be careful with the 20* BTDC; most of these cars will start pinging above 15*
