I have a 2003 GT. Currently jetted for a 100 shot of sauce, 3.73's, short throw, suspension, custom tune, cai etc. I just popped my second spark plug out of my cylinder heads in less than two months. The engine has less than 50k on it and this shouldn't happen this often. I want to know what parts are required to swap out the sohc engine and throw in a dohc terminator. Obviously the engine, ecu, harness have to be changed, but what else?

ECU doesnt need to be changed, just reflashed; wiring harness needs to be modified a good amount. It's not worth it unless you plan on making more than 600rwhp

where do you live? i know a guy in mobile , al that has a mess of used 03-04 cobra motors , all under 30,000 miles , and he will do the whole swap engine AND t-56 tranny for 7400. and then he'll buy your engine lol. thats a fucckin deal.

I live in mn. I used to work for Ford as a tech so I still get their cost. The long block cobra engine will only cost me 3,700! And I plan on making over 700 rwhp before the spray.
