Where to put jack stands

Default Where to put jack stands

well i got my self in a little pickle. haha i sold my wheels and tires that are on my car now and i need to ship them out tomarrow, and my new ones havnt came in yet. so i need to put my car on jack stands for a day or so. im gonna put 2 jack stands on the rear axles, and where do i put them for the front? on the subfram? and will it be find for the suspension to be full extended for that long?

Put them under the end of the front framerails. The suspension will be fine being unloaded that long. While its up in the air at all fours, might as well get under and look for anything suspicious suspension wise and drivetrain wise.

yea thats where i usually put them. i guess thats a good spot im just worried about jacking it up now with jack stands holding up one side to get the last two jack stands on. and ive heard using the pumkin to jack up the rear is somtimes a bad thing, do i have no choice? i need to get the rear up evenly.

I havent had any problems jacking up under the pumpkin. It is extremely stout piece of metal. Doubt you will ever have problem with it
