Hey everyone,
So I've been hearing this clunking going on for the past couple of weeks. I was driving on some rough roads and after a while my car started to make noise. I first thought maybe something was loose and my exhaust was just rattling. This morning I was at a stop sign and as I tapped my brakes the clunk noise was made everytime I hit my brake. So the noise is made when I'm just driving along the road and now I realized that it happens when I tap the brake. I'm assuming that something is obviously wrong with my brakes. Anyone experienced this before or have any idea what it may be? Thanks

Check the rear calipers, and the suspension parts for worn bushings also

Most likely your control arm bushings. When you hit your brakes your rear end torques backwards. i'm betting on your bushings are all dried up!

I just heard from my mechanic. Apparently a couple of the bolts loosened up and popped out. Glad I didn't go any longer or my brakes wouldn't be working!
