well i will have to ask him what kind of damage was donebecuase if it was just body parts that were damaged then why not? I also found out that the 98 could use a new side skirt and hood. Anybody know approximately how much paint is for skirts and a hood? Don't have to repaint the whole car right?

of course im a little biased as far as the sexyness of the sn95, but besides my preference in looks, if you look at it all just on paper, the 98 would almost be a no-brainer. Probably def more power than the edge (you didnt mention any mods for the edge, so the full exhaust + any other boltons + swap=more power), but the biggest thing for me is the "salvage" title, unless you did the work yourself, providing you know what you're doing, I wouldn't dare take that 99. My little bro bought a salvage title 87 ttop gt, runs like a bat outta hell for a mostly stock car (8.87 1/8), but its 3 different shades of red, and it looks like it rides down the road crooked. Just another .02

Because it usualltakes more than just damaged body panels to total a car. Who knows if they're OEM panels and the quality of the work. And as already asked, who did the work? I had body work done three years ago, it looked perfect then, now the paint is bubbling. $4200 is nota damn good deal for a reconstruct title car in my book. Were just trying to save you headaches down the road. How much do you have to spend total?

98 cobra $6000 in NH

97 cobra $7700 in NY

97 cobra $7777 in MA

I suggest you keep shopping around. What is the price on the 98 GT?
