You don't def need an a/f gauge. I got a narrow band and never look at it. I would get boost, fuel pressure, and a wideband a/f gauge. If you don't get wideband then don't get an a/f gauge and get maybe an oil pressure gauge.

I wasn't gonna say anything about the A/F meter but i heard that those really don't tell you much anyway.

I have an Air/fuel ratio and as jpmustanggt said, you don't need it. Its more/less a pretty light show without a wide-band 02 sensor...don't think u wanna pay for that as well. Electric fuel pressure and boost (vac/boost, not just boost)is all you need.

what's the difference between vac/boost and just a boost gauge? What is the vac part showing?

the vacuum half is just good precaution. Since u are a centri-style charger, you make boost after certain rpm's, so a boost-only guage would seem in-active unless u were heavy on the throttle. Being able to see more of what your engine doing will be able to help diagnose a boost leak sooner or tell if something is disconnected. Going down the road, my guage never even see's 0 unless im racing, then it climbs.
