shortblock. if your plans include a 125 shot of juice and some other stuff your 2v isnt gonna last unless its already forged. so youll have to do something about that in the future anyways, u might as well do it now. and if you get a new motor as said u can get a smaller pulley ontop of it.

ok well first off, ive done quite a bit of research on these motors. i know what they can handle and what they cant. i know that eventually i have to forge the bottome end. And i also am planning do the meth injection. i almost did it a while back but decided to save my money for somethin bigger.

im just tryin to spend my money wisely right now and not wish that i did somethin different...u know.

im also tossing the idea around of a 4v swap. any thoughts?

Yeah, I'd do the shortblock now. You already plan on doing more that will need it, so just get it over with. Plus, even though the safe number is 400-450 HP on the stock block, to me, I wouldn't want to run 450 without having the money to buy the new shortblock at any time. Maybe it's just me, but 450 is close enough that I wouldn't want something to happen and get stuck without the money to buy a new block should something happen. Play it safe and get the block first.

4V are the **** but just go with the shortblock unless you can find a GREAT price on a 4V!
