Hey! knock it off you two... Now both of you shake e-hands. X04Mach1X it might have somthing to do with the fact that you've got a 4 valve or something like that. But thanks for your help. I'll probably end up trying it out later simply because I like to try out new things. But for right now I'm probably gonna gap them at .054 just to make sure that that was the problem. Maybe i'll gap each side of the engine differently and see which side of the engine I like better hehe....

I wouldn't listen to X04Mach1X. The gap needs to be changed as you add power or alter the compression ratio you're running. On a stock engine you should be running .054 as stated by many of the others. If you added a supercharger, nitrous, or change the compression ratio you'll need to change the gap but leave it at .054 on a stock engine.

Alright, I changed them out last night. The old ones were completely crisped. The tip looked like it was made of coal or something. But the thing is that they weren't more than a month old and they were gapped to .054 so I'm not exactly sure what the deal was. But it does run a hell of a lot better considering I couldn't get 1 out because I sorta stripped the coilpack bolt...hehe. But I'll get it off and swap that one out later today. Still sorta puzzled on why they went bad so quickly.

i bought my car a month and a half ago, with full tuneup and plugs, my plugs went bad already too hmm .054 gap maybe? that gap is huge!!!
also i dont know if you know this or not but cruising around in 5th gear or below 1500 rpm is not good for our plugs.
