Default squeak from rear?

hey guys, i don't want to start a fight again like in the other thread lol so please keep it out of my post.

anyway - when i get on it and the car shifts - theres a squeaking / squealing noise from the rear of the car. it's not the tires i know that since this thing won't even spin them. is something going out in the rear? is it the pressure of the fluid int he transmission going back down? or what? it's like.. i can't explain any better then

'floor it - shift - squeak'

?? anyone know?

Could it be your shocks/springs? Does it squeak when you ride over bumps? Under hard acceleration your shocks and springs are going to compress, when you let off to shift they will extend.. does it sound like that or a different squeak?

I don't know about the sound coming from the rear? But I know when I used to shift hard before I got a new belt, you could hear it slip a little on the pulleys. But you could definitely tell it was coming from the front, so, sorry I can't help you out. Good luck man.

Oh and by the way SalikDDD, concerning the other post... Im sure you know you didnt start that fight, it had nothing to do with you. We all apologize about being little girls in that thread. Ill just go ahead and stick my neck out there and speak for everyone. Sorry you had to witness that on your first post. Normally not like that around here. didja try lubing your rear? I hear that helps sometimes.

could be the various bushings on your control arms.

+1i was told tocheck the lubricant every 10,000 miles (in a dusty environment) and replace if its grimey. with all the dirt it will pick up, it can become abrasive and wear parts down quicker.

im not sure for ur situation but i have a similar problem but i figured it out, the part of where my lower rear control arm hooks on to the chassie. i think its called a torque box. i jacked up the car and checked both sides and saw that one side was flat and the other was bent. the noise i herd was like a popping sound so i guess its similar to when u bend metal it flexes. it worth taking a look at cant hurt lol good luck man
