Default Adjustable cable with firewall adjuster.

Last night I put the steeda adjustable cable, firewall adjuster, and quadrant in. Everything went pretty smooth installing. But when it came to adjusting the cable, I had problems. At the clutch fork, the nut was all the to the end on the cable. So I had no room for adjustment, so I figured I would be able to adjust it at the firewall adjuster. Well just to get the cable to reach the quadrant, we had to turn the firewall adjuster all the way in so, the clutch would fully disengage and engage. Everything works fine with the clutch assembly, just the point that the releasement point of the clutch on the pedal is right at top, which is also causing the tob to chirp. On my previous car I had problems with the tob chirping, but I just adjusted the clutch and it went away. Can anybody give me some info here. Do I need to wait a little for the cable to stretch out or did I install something wrong which I cant really see.
