Tow Hitch (I know, I know !!!!!)

RE: Tow Hitch (I know, I know !!!!!)
The quick answer is the unibody car has no actual frame that goes from back to front that the body is setting on. It has two subframes attached to the unibody/body which is actually structual. I checked with a Ford Seinor Master Tech Mechanic and he said as long as I don't overload the trailer I would be ok. Make sure there is room for the rear suspensionto move and dont hot rod while towing.
The hitch was #60990 for $136.75 and thequick connect T connector for the lights for $49.95with free shipping fromHitchmart.com. If you order the quick connectorit may come in a second shipment, mine did, but it makes the trailer light hook up very easy.

To be completely honest, but the most reasonable solution (that won't require you putting a tow hitch on a mustang, which i feel is distasteful, nothing against you) is to buy a beater truck. What? 1000$? 1500$? Guess what...
You'll get it back in a year on insurance, at least, I will. My insurance goes down 100$/mo if I buy a truck, so I'm trying to save/get a signature loan for one. Might be a good idea for you, too. Use the money you'd of spent on a hitch towards the truck, save on insurance, and not desecrate a perfectly good sports car. =)
