Default EGR Problem P0401

Hi.. I am getting the code read P0401 I changed the EGR valve.. I change the DPFE Sensor.. The 2 common things.. What the world do I change now.. The light keeps coming on after i drive awhile! What could this be!! Please help.. I have a 96 Mustang GT

Do our cars have a DPFS (differential pressure feedback sensor) Ive read of guys replacing those and the light going off.

Yeah, there is actually a TSB. Only certain years have DPFE's. I replace at least 2 a day on FORD cars/trucks because of this code. And it fixes it. The light never comes back on. What happens is water from the exhaust gets into the sensor and faults them. Did you clear the KAM after doing it?

Do our cars have a DPFS (differential pressure feedback sensor) Ive read of guys replacing those and the light going off.

I guess the next thing i would try it see if there are any restrictions on the pipes that the DPFE goes into. See if there are any cut wires going to the sensor.
