What battery to get

99 gt vert. Original battery has finally died so Iam looking for new one now.Factory stereo system and i dont drive in cold weather. THX

Usually I say get an Optima, but in your case it doens't really matter. Whatever is cheapest. Costco's Kirkland batterys are pretty good and cheap. If you don't live near one just go to your local napa/autozone/kragen/shucks/whatever and pick up the one that fits our cars.

I have an Optima and that thing is great! No problem turning the car over, cold weather or hot. You can pretty much get that one and forget about it for a good long while. But I'm sure that any other battery will work just fine for you too. It's just that Optimas are a bit more, but the quality is far and above everything else.

Forgot to say its my 3rd car and i only driveitlike few times a month... Would optima be good option or should just stick to regular cheapest one .

If you plan to get some sort of ego boost by showing off your battery, go with an Optima (this isn't meant as a poke at those that actually get them cause they think they help them through winter). Otherwise go to Wal-Mart and get a $29 one and be happy.
