Driver side window
On my way home from the track with my new personal best breaking into the 13s, i was riding home down I-95 and i guess i hit a bump and now my window wont go down. It makes this noise like its off the track. Then i hit it again today to show my cousin and something obviously fell off cause you heard it clank and fall down through my door haha. Do you guys think it like totally broke or could be fixed easily.
You will have to take off the door panel to see! With out knowing what it is that fell off we can't say! Im sure it is a bitxh to mess around in the inner door panel area... most new cars are, but I have yet to see the inside of our door panels! Could be your motor fell of...lol.. or mabey a window rod or something!
It's the window regulator. It's driven by cable and the window falls down when the cable breaks. The motor still runs but it's just spinning, not moving anything at all. The clanking noise is the cable floping around in there.

I've changed hundreds of them. I get at least one or two a week.

That's the only way to get the regulator in the door panel. The motor mounts in one spot and the regulator in another. There are two cables that go from the motor to the regulator. If they are broken you have to buy the entire regulator. I've actually never seen a regulaor in a mustang but have changed a lot in crown vics. I would assume they are the same as far as the cables go. Hopefully the window just came loose from the regulator. It could also be the plastic ***** in the motor that went bad. That's a easy cheap fix if that's what it is. Some of the older fords that has a big enough hole behind the door panel had one piece regulators but all the newer ones had cables that I dealt with.
