Gauge cluster question???

RE: Gauge cluster question???
OK, this is how it all works. That is a roush cluster, you send your factory in, and they swap the overlays and make it electroluminescent. Thats besides the point. When you swap your gauge cluster, you remove the 6 t-15 torx screws on the back of cluster. Then gently, from the edges, lift up on the circuit board. Some clusters have to remove 2 connections from the circuit board, some are only 1. You put your circuit board onto the new cluster and reinstall x amount of connections. Your reinstall the rear white cover with the 6 torx screws. Put the cluster back in, fire it up. No reprogramming, same miles, all is well.
On a side note, I bought the lunar series autometer cluster and kept the circuit board in from the guy who I bought it from and installed it as is just for kicks. Car started right up, only problem is that "theft" kept flashing. So it may work, just might have the annoying light. BUT just KISS, and swap the darn circuit boards.
