Default new rims and tires hitting sway bar!

A buddy of mine needs a sway bar forhis V6 coupe and the reason is becausehe put on Saleen rims and tires. So,he was wondering if the cobra sway bar is anything different from that of a V6 because when he turns the new wheels to the left, it touches the sway bar whereas it should not....?? any ideas?

How about spacers to get the wheels out a little farther?

You probably don't need much, 1/2" or 3/4",
I think they sell different sized spacers to get your wheels out more.

Front or rear sway bar? And was it wheels from a 05-07 Mustang?

That doesn't make any sense. When he bought the wheels, they should come ready to be put on the car with no issues. Do you have a link to where he bought the rims from?

sounds like maybe the sway bar might be bent, no reason he should be hitting it, is the car lowered at all??
