Hey guys i did the search and read up on all the posts i could find on this topic most are pointing towards the 03 swap. Anyways I was wondering if anyone could shed some light or link me to a write up on a 96gt to 99-01 cobra swap. I am not interested in the pi head swap and can't go 03 due to costs. Now i am assuming im looking at engine, cobra ecu, fuel pump, and possilby tranny but could using the 5speed be possible. Also prob a rear end. Mabye cooling issues as well. Also im looking for upgraded brake system going from the 96gt to possibly 99-01 cobra brake system is this possible or will i have to go with the 96-98 cobra calipers and rotors. Again thx for any info or links im starting this project asap lol even though i just bought this car 2 days ago Any info on any electircal issues would be greatly appreciated

i will sell my whole 99 cobra motor complete down to wireing harness for 5,000, with mods

I have seen deals for the whole setup tranny,ecu, harness, exhaust and engine for 3500 so sorry im still shopping around trying to find the best price

fordracingparts.com i believe that's it. they have everything you need to do the swap to 2000 cobra motor. the trans should be the same as yours though. anyhoo, it's like 6k for the whole package. engine, ecu, exhaust manifolds and mid-pipe, wiring harness, and transmission. not sure about the brake interchangability though.
