Default Tuning after replacing cams

So I have some VT Stage 1 cams on order, and I was wondering if anyone knows what settings to adjust on an SCT tuner to accomidate, or should I cough up the cash and get it tuned?

i dont think you have a choice. ive never heard of a handhelp adjusting for cam work. You would want to get it tuned anyway so he can get the most out of it. its worth it.. a cammed 4.6 is pure sex

The sct box/manual says after porting or camming you need a custom tune.

to get max gains out of a stage 1 yes a tune is ideal. stage 2 you have no choice your gonna have to tune b/c it will barely run and stall all the time.

I think he was referring to the sound, you dont have to have PP heads or x angle valve jobs, but they help
