i would just buy new. i have heard of to many people buying one and it is vin locked. might be better to spend the extra money for security. or look around localy and verify it works first

Used is fine provided the previous owner restored the stock tune to their car before selling it. Used ones should go for around $225 or so, and it's like buying anything else online if you can't find one locally, make sure as much as possible that the seller is reputable.
