I would like to make some mods to the car like <exhaust> and maybe air intake. The factory exhaust sounds OK but thinking maybe i should go with flowmaster...not sure?? also i was told air intake may void warranty... is this true???? need advice!!!!!! thanks [sm=feedback.gif]

I don't know about the whole warrenty thing but for a new catback it all depends on what kind of sound you want. If you want something not too crazy go with flows, I love mine, but if you want something that will really turn heads try magnaflow, loudmouth, borla, and compliment it with an H or X pipe and you'll sound badass!

I recently just put on a Bassani catted X pipe and Borla Stingers cat back and man does it sound great. Ordered from http://ninosport.com for about $1000 with free shipping. Go for it!

go to mustangexhaust.com register for their forum over there and you can hear 100s of exhaust combinations, pick which one appeals to you. The x-pipe will give you a bit higher pitched tone and more HP higher up in the rpm range where as the h-pipe will give you a deeper rumble and more torque.

An intake won't void your warrenty. I had one on my '03 GT drop and it spent more time in the shop getting warrenty work done than it did on the road.

if you want it to scream and grab everybody's attention, get SLP Loudmouth 1s or 2s, or magnapacks. how much did you pay for your 04? i wish i would have held out a bit longer before getting mine. dealers have them for about 16k now.
