I personally really like the Hurst comp plus shifter. Incredibly short throws and feels pretty tight.
+1 Hurst shifter kicks ****, but I have MGW.

Pro 5.0 is all i have run on my stangs (fox's and a new edge) that is the only short throw shifter i would put on my car

you should look into an SLP short throw. not many people have it but i do and i love it. its cheap but not built that way. its nice because it keeps the shift **** in about the same spot but with just shorter throws. look into it
