So i have an 98 gt, me and buddy just put a spec. stage 1 in it... feels great but when i depress the clutch it clicks or makes a knocking noise right before it hits the floor? When I adjusted the clutch cable i tightened it very tight could this be it? Also for so reason I keep burning up plug wires? Could it be my coil packs? Just looking for any ideas or that person that knows it all thanks.

provided everything went in right, clutch chatter maybe? the specs i have had did chatter a bit. when you adjust that cable make it so you have about 1/8 inch of play between the adjuster and the round stop on the cable. Plug wires, im not sure. I would doubt that would be connected to this sound. Never really had any issues with plug wires in any of my cars. Short maybe? Water?
